Careers & Preparation for Adulthood

The Maple School’s Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEIAG) programme helps students learn about themselves and the choices they can make for their future. It supports students in understanding their interests and strengths and shows them the different courses, qualifications and opportunities available to them.

The programme helps students build important skills for working life. It encourages them to make decisions that are both realistic and ambitious. Students are supported in planning their next steps and understanding what they can do after Year 11, including training, further education, higher education and employment.

Students also learn how to write strong applications for jobs and courses, improve their interview skills and gain confidence through CV writing.
