Music Development

The Maple School is committed to developing Music for all our students. It forms an essential part of our Life and Learning offer but extends much beyond this. The Music Development plan offers a number of areas as to where we look to develop Music.

During the 2026-2027 academic year we are delighted to be able to extend our music offer further by offering all children the opportunity to complete a 6 week programme focussing on Music and Music Technology through our partnership with Blackpool Music Service. In addition we offer instrument lessons free of charge to children who wish to learn an instrument.
